这部电影的背景设定经过了充分的设计：独在异国他乡，语言沟通的障碍、鱼龙混杂的租客以及让人担忧的治安环境。。我们在生活中可能都遇到过其中之一，而种种环境的叠加极大地倍增了恐惧感。
