选角神了，演员都烙入角色。不清楚原著什么调性，但简坎皮真的才情出众，至少对我来说这个故事里的每一张脸都有着不同程度的扁平，能做到这么高级全凭导演的能力。菲尔就一不讲道理的作男，角色弧度很小基本上就纯招人讨厌。有人说彼得恋母恐怕是对亲子关系有误解，我要是他我也起杀心，看着这个什么玩意儿整体污蔑欺负自己妈妈不弄死他留着过年吗？
人物描写非常好，演员也演得很到位。本就喜欢凶杀发生后层层剥开发掘真相的作品，看完这部发现我也很喜欢凶杀前层层堆砌引致高潮的作品。看影评说原著的人物的性格更极端，本电影的改编更贴合现实，也更彻骨寒心，让我想到如果《Rusty Lake: Roots》要改编成影视作品的话，找简导来拍一定非常合适。toxic masculity，缺乏自爱自尊又需要变强大，通过伤害对自己示弱的人来找回自尊；但是如果刚好又爱上的话，那这段关系只能慢慢滑向一方杀掉另一方的结局，因为爱对这种人来说过于沉重。如果不除掉外面的防卫来让真实的心变强大，而是继续加强防护，那么他们始终弱小的心灵就终将无法承受这种感情，只能通过把另一方毁灭掉来寻求解脱。原本以为BC只能演学究，开始还有点嫌弃他的口音。支持拿奥斯卡影帝和最佳导演。
导演真的厉害，很简单的故事，靠着音画和节奏控制将气氛渲染起来，靠心理和情绪推动，全程压抑而不安，几乎是坐在椅子边看完的。两个男主角当中，Cumberbatch在表面上的确是颠覆的，但层次上还是欠了些，少了份缺乏令人同情的柔软，Smit-McPhee的阴郁气质更符合角色，反而更出彩。
疫情前拍的真有先见之明啊。资本>意识形态>真相。地球被他们玩坏了，但他们活下来了。
看到这阵容赶紧去电影院看了！太精彩了。这部电影没有爆笑的场景，却把黑色幽默演绎的淋漓尽致
犬山之力轻如鸿毛，又重于泰山，新西兰旷野之息般的壮阔美景再次被尽收眼底，静默的积云点缀西挂的垂阳，压迫着被牛仔们圈养的苍暮大地。Peter手中的柳叶刀也是坎皮恩洞察两性欲望交汇点时的敏锐眼力，诗意般的对父权社会结构下的雄性气魄进行着赤裸窥探与无情解剖。最值得回味的当属点烟织鞭那场戏，调度一绝，卷福和kodi的表演更是无懈可击，性情与体魄迥然不同的两位白男形象，同时被其小心隐藏的回忆、私欲与本我驱使着，共舞着谋划着一片属于二人的私密地带，若即若离且充斥危机信号的暧昧氛围促使文本以外的性张力直线拉满，真的奉劝大老爷们儿们一句传世民谣，你戎马一生为了谁，又能爱几回恨几回？
好久没看到情绪这么克制的片了，很喜欢Peter的设定，中立性别的暧昧感
当荒谬到一定程度后，你会觉得真他妈的写实啊。分裂的、反智的、贪婪的、混乱的、愚蠢的...人类。结尾全裸出镜的演员们辛苦了...
不算我喜欢的那类电影，但剧本表演摄影剪辑全满分，挑不出毛病。最初看到男主手搓花蕊，我以为是在暗示他后面要和女主啪啪啪，没想到剧情发展成那样。
克制太明显，将故事风格平静转为压抑，从细致的人物描写和多处伏笔上就将故事拉向一个悲剧，男性的阴柔和刚烈，彼得面貌柔弱内心残酷，菲尔外表强硬内心的脆弱，到结局的死亡，孤独的灵魂逐渐阐开，却也象征一个野蛮的旧时代男子以及这个旧时代的落没。同性元素在这部电影里只是一个人物符号，暗喻压抑，也代表菲尔这个多元素所集结一身的人物的矛盾，本身就是作者所赋予的多重人性的指代，在这个远离文明社会的西部地区，寂寞和缺爱导致的刻薄暴躁，在面临隔绝恐怖的爱中，死亡也许是唯一的解脱。卷福依然很让人感慨
政客喷了，政客背后的资本也喷了，娱乐至死也喷了，该喷的都喷了，但就是不得劲，感觉费了很大的力气，拍了一个政治正确样板戏模板。
……这种故事明明是有一种被压抑的冲动在里面的 在这种完美无缺的框架的禁锢下无论是横向还是纵向都失去张力 会变成这样其实在创作层面蛮可怕的（指的是我心目中全球最好的女性导演坎皮恩老师变得过于迷恋自己的控制能力这件事）
7⃣️紧绷克制到结尾甚至没有回神究竟发生了什么，暗涌的张力处处撩动观者的情绪。一步步走出柜子，一步步走入陷阱。
爱梨杏菜在演唱会上唱你们都会死的时候真是浪漫至极。于是当死亡向我们走来的时候，我们就能并肩向爱走去
人类不得救。狂欢里的悲戚，哭声里的纵乐。实在太精彩了。讽刺一切，也讽刺讽刺本身的无力。监视资本主义。数字环形监狱。娱乐至死。制度表演性。人心不可思议的小贪婪与大侥幸。所有人，所有地方，都是一个德行，只不过穿着不同的衣裳和伪装，给自己贴了不同的名词和标签。恶搞版的《1984》《动物庄园》和《我们》。毁灭吧，赶紧的。累了。
压迫感好足，想要做到看破不说破的美学。这要是不拿影帝，卷福白下海了，虽然没有很直白，但是那种感情拿捏的透透的。极度恐同即深柜。
你把陨石当新冠一样来看，就能懂里面的笑点了。
