为了取得职业中的成功，二人开始了一场从外到内的较量与竞争，但是偶然的一次电梯事故，使二人的竞争关系发生了微妙的改变。
与《算牌人》最相像的是斯科塞斯的《爱尔兰人》，二者都在本是绚烂张扬的类型里拍出了萧索之气。施拉德那新教徒般的节制在这个寓言中显出恐怖的一面来，他的男主角的道德性即体现于这种节制，他是一个能算牌的人，能看透坐庄的美国体系里自洽的极权性，却只稍作利用以维系生活而不加追究。直到最后，他才成了真正的威廉·退尔，一个斗士。他在自由之时却似乎活在玻璃监牢里，而在监狱中反而获得了真正的自由。
好像没一幕亲历过，但是很多细节都能唤醒遥远的记忆。竟然现在美国还拍这么老派的片子，不知道IRR是怎么样的
男女主角之间确实有点吸引力。男主角穿西装的样子太好看了，爱了爱了。穿便服就真的没那味儿…
姐妹搞事业是王道，男主身材真不错。办公室布景也挺有意思的一边性冷淡一边暖色调，男主还总是关键时候掉链子也是打破常规了，不知道的还以为他最后要出柜呢。

挺无聊的，各种幼稚园游戏搬进办公室，白天互相伤害，晚上就限制级春梦，第二天就情不自禁热吻，搞不懂。不过俩人嘴炮攻击还是挺加分的，损人不用脏字。
