The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 根据真实事件改编的战争惨剧。二战时，英国空军本打算轰炸盖世太保大楼，盖世太保抓了许多抵抗组织的成员关押在大楼顶层成为肉盾，英国空军一直没有实施行动。后来终于决定行动了，却因为一架轰炸机坠毁在当地修道院学校，后续的轰炸机以为坠毁战机冒起的浓烟是任务目标的标记，而将炸弹陆续投掷到学校，造成超过一百人的死亡。用最直接的方式展现战争对于发动战争的一方来说也是残酷的事实

战争让信仰逐渐坍塌，上帝根本不存在，不然为什么会将赶去婚礼的四人横死在田野间，不然为什么会将导弹的浓烟引导到教会学校。在希望中等来绝望，在绝望中幻想希望，丹麦童谣和德国歌谣交织在纳粹将顷之际。

男孩因恐惧而失声，因责任而开口，这个设计得很好，但很多线索有头无尾，不算完整。
斯科特德瑞克森继《险恶》后再次合作伊桑霍克。本片相比《险恶》有异曲同工之处，但却没有险恶那么高潮迭起。孩童的视角让全片显得有点像在模仿《小丑回魂》，不停的绑架和接电话让人看的昏昏欲睡，台词无聊至极，让人觉得这不像是德瑞克森的电影
后面有点大同小异，不过我们还是要世界和平，电影3星题材+1星
员就拿越来越阴暗的天空作比喻，
感觉很不错，剧情也很好，感兴趣的可以去看一下
都市童话故事。打发时间倒是不错，除了IU其他人都很入戏。IU勉强合格但确实没把复杂性演出来，这个人物已经写的够精彩了。
导演有点故作玄虚，开头还假模假样整的和文艺片一样忽悠影评人，正片感觉撑不起来100分钟的长度
仿小丑回魂，气球，小镇杀人狂，黄色雨衣，雨天自行车等等元素，叙事有些流水账了，特别是反派没有塑造起来
