During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 我觉得是一部很有意义的电影，不仅讨论了印度的传统对女性和同性恋的限制，而且还探讨了人生问题，比如面对孤独，勇于追求等，超级希望是HE！
特别古典的希区柯克式的悬疑电影，包括前半部的运镜都挺有希式电影的风格。背景的各方政治角力，每一方都不过是利益集团的代表，寓意了当前的西方世界，。只有男主抱着那点仅存的正义感与赎罪心，踉踉跄跄地独自走在暴徒和警察对峙的骚乱中，很有意思。
其实真的要杀那女生有一百种办法，一个个送人头不科学，另外攀岩悬崖求婚简直是作死现场教学。
这水平5.8差不多。这个故事即使拍得再好，估计也不会很高。
P.S：无意冒犯，但男主真的让人磕不起来…
意外的耐看，孤身对抗警察，CIA，却不是那种老套的动作电影，相比之下，主角更加平凡，甚至可怜孱弱，让人同情。最后从高楼跳下砸到车上，我本来以为是电影套路，后来才理解，是真的想死，有点伤感
预告片还是很精彩的，正片时，制作和剪辑的简陋马上露了马脚
女主攀岩躲避追求，利用4个男的互相猜疑反杀取胜。情节还算合理，反派乔许有点丧心病狂加蠢笨。
【B-】攀岩题材的女性反杀片和密室类型片，虽然入戏比较慢、结尾比较随意、弱化了攀岩过程，但是好在氛围一直在线，剧情一直有合理的事件来推动。
有一幕真的好喜欢，夜晚的风肆意的吹着窗帘，而安睡的人还是安睡
可以一看。冗戏多了些。坎妹出场10分钟旅了次希腊游，男主停车场惊人一跳莫不是看了蝙蝠侠黑暗骑士？后来男主一想自己单兵作战这么厉害不如去当特工，于是这片就叫信条前传：how to be an agent
画面却还比较漂亮，只是兄妹两个爱上一个人比较狗血，还有很多场景明显有CMBYN的痕迹。A番男主看起来不讨巧
男租客的尬笑……演技太拉了………整个电影都很混乱
原来是瓜达尼诺的搭档自己出来单干导演的一作，参照70年代经典political thriller追逃模式设计的新片，完成得不错，但也没有什么大的特色..? 丹泽尔华盛顿这个儿子吧，我也不懂咋就一下子能接到这么多主演..?
剧情随时间越来越拉跨。坏男一号用事实证明走小道比垂直攀岩快，还省力。另外三个跟班男太软弱，留在世上也是浪费粮食。特效一般，镜头运用一般，让人感觉不出悬崖峭壁和高度感，女主就好像在离地三尺和坏人对峙。

虽然剧情太扯，但还是觉得人物和画面......太美了
优缺点都特别明显的电影，本来应该很绝望，屁民莫名其妙卷入一场很严重的漩涡当中，本来应该充满了无力感，结果最后莫名就化身超级英雄了 所以前后半截内核特别扭吧，太迎合市场，以至于脱节了
欧洲导演拍的动作惊悚片实在是一言难尽。悬疑感营造得很漂亮，派头十足很有希区柯克的味道。不过这种氛围随着莫名其妙的情节展开而丧失，男主角的死活也不再有扣人心弦的吸引力。这是情感救赎剧与地缘政治阴谋类型杂交产生的怪胎。
印度版CMBYN，画面很美，故事也动人，我很喜欢
