The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. a weird yet inspiring journey
Cult中的cult，没看懂，噩梦不过如此
不禁张大嘴巴，啧啧称奇。有些画面极易引起不适。部分影评谈此片基于旧约圣经，如此云云。
通过一个看似混沌不清的故事，实则让多种理念相互缠绕，继而生发出更为宏大的主题。蒂贝特用自身极富特色的影像语言，试图去演绎哲学上的三大终极问题：是谁？来自哪里？要到哪里去？
两星敬佩制作过程，不过太冗长了，完全可以压缩一半的。

很荣幸能观看大神三十年打造的世界，能看到这些画面真的挺幸运。能配的上这种画面的也无非也就是这些抽象的人与神，就这么回事，具体表达没意义。
属于越看越精彩的类型，冷酷无情的脑洞，各色怪兽的集合，最终回归到宇宙星辰，道不尽的库布里克
這是一部沒有人可以解說的電影
如果喜欢cult片，那本片是不二选择。各种混剪和场景的变化，感受时空错乱如梦境。美术和配乐美轮美奂，绝对是区别于好多影片的存在啊。
不會因為一部虛構小說改變對Chamberlain的印象。Paul的轉變也是因為被錘過了，所以說……
触目惊心的想象力实在令人叹服，跨度30年的绝大成本所形成的独特性也确实不能以一般的文本去要求本片了，某种程度上讲真是一部究极的电影，或许可以说它的存在就是来终结定格动画的？
上一次看木偶剧还是《阿凡提》……融合了末世、血腥、哲学的怪诞cult片，匠心独具。

重新为张伯伦翻案，或者说还原出更务实复杂的政治人物，此片相当成功，也得益于之前研究和小说的基础，Irons的表演入木三分。造成戏剧冲突的小人物视角和动作其实并无关大局，更为可信。

我得是多无聊，才会把这么一部片子看完啊……
制作组足够努力……然而我对又脏又乱又湿的环境反感至极……看不下去
刚开始觉得是一张迷幻专辑的MV，越往后看越觉得画面和音乐缺一不可，合二为一胜过任一。
