At first I thought it would talk about restorative justice vs punitive justice. As story unfolding it shows different social classes in America and how people from these classes think and act.
博同情故事，秀情感大戏，女主整容后时代来临，有点变形的假面看起来肥肠难受
导演相当克制，一部不错的表演佳作，借着看上去很实，很真的社会事件。如果给韩国导演拍，一定反转一次又一次的复仇电影。导演并没有让剧情朝着观众的设想让任何一个人去挂号。着力表现女一号内心的挣扎和生活的不易。
姐姐为了妹妹顶罪已经不是新鲜的剧作手法但桑德拉布洛克的表演已经超出剧本限制，局外人的身份展现出间离感
最后反转略为惊喜，其他拍出了很美国的样子，但五年前的水平。
本来想给五星的，为了剧情，还是减一星好了，好喜欢桑德拉·布洛克啊，她在这里演得的确非常棒。
4星给这个曼彻斯特一般绝望又透着一丝光的故事，+1星给桑姨。
简单的坚强，简单的语言，才能讲好悲伤的故事。
低估了低估了。娓娓道来，后劲十足。哭得一塌糊涂。

桑德拉·布洛克演的真好啊，光看眼神就把戏演完了，那种情绪在零界点的表演绝了！可惜剧情拉胯，真的刻意和狗血，尤其两兄弟的内容，都不像是这些年的电影。
警长是妹妹杀的这是没想到的，这样女主的20年牢狱生活太憋屈了，为了保护妹妹做出了这么大的牺牲，同样的，她为了救错绑的女孩而挡在枪口面前。最后的拥抱很暖……还是得夸下女主的演技！
导演想要进行现实主义的表达，但故事逻辑有点问题，女主表演强大。
