受限于漫威影业的严苛要求，古恩在两部《银河护卫队》中都没能自由发挥他强烈的B级趣味。所幸，在来到以对待导演宽松而著称（当然，偶尔也会招来骂名）的华纳影业后，古恩终于得以大展身手。
