The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up.     节奏非常明快，对众生相的描写非常细腻，也对美国人后911的心态有比较真挚的刻画。确实是一曲人性的颂歌。17年底去纽约的时候就看到了这剧的大幅广告牌，也被当地导游推荐了这个剧，但当时去看了更有名的《西贡小姐》就没去看它。。。其实还是比较明智的选择吧，因为现场第一次看的话，肯定听不懂。。。感谢字幕帮我看了一出好戏！

    舞台与影像的结合实属惊艳，舞台戏剧本身的魅力也充分表现，同一演员、同一空间表现出了多样的形式，在疫情后的第一场百老汇演出确实惊艳。但戏剧内容实在平庸，讲来讲去不过是娱乐至死至上的美国价值说教，戏剧演员的格式化表演也无法承受镜头的张力……网上看到一半自觉无聊便退场。
