The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 还是很典型的美国青春剧，简单也不是很做作，玩音乐简单是因为单纯热爱，把彼此最美好的送给最爱的对方也是因为热爱，为了梦想可以拼搏一把相信自己就是最好的青春证明啊。
重金属外衣下的青春碰撞，不算音乐片，当作青春片来看还是不错的，友情爱情，果然玩金属的还是内心细腻的腼腆人，整体还不错，会玩乐器真的好酷！

最后的音乐画龙点睛，
这几年看过的有关“重金属音乐”的电影，还是喜欢《重金属囧途》和《劣迹斑斑》。只有主唱和鼓手的乐队打算找个贝斯手。主唱强势且缺爱，鼓手懦弱而缺钱。他们认识一个会突然暴走（没注意是什么病）的大提琴女孩，主唱认为女孩不够“重金属”，鼓手则很喜欢女孩。于是主唱认为鼓手背叛了友谊和“重金属”，鼓手则认为主唱自私且不懂为人处世。最后当然是争吵后会和好，经历后才会成长。不仅乐队组成后取得了好成绩，而且三个人都更成熟了。有关音乐的青春成长电影，略套路，无惊喜。
每个热爱metal的人都是偏执狂，包括我自己。
剧情轻松有趣，两人互相需求的羁绊发展也很青春。
