In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 笑死我了，这老美自黑都要成年度惯例了是吗。虽然2021跟2020相比都很糟心，但2022开年的时候笑一笑，总是对过去的一年有个交待嘛
十分有趣的美国人看世界的纪录片，2021真是既糟糕又混乱，充斥着越来越多的对立和消极情绪，不过我觉得这并不妨碍人类走入更加糟糕的2022。
自己给自己黑到家，反正就是不管什么事情都要分两派，从戴不戴口罩打不打疫苗到总统选举，感觉美国人民天天过得跟辩论大赛似的。还不如干脆恢复到南北战争之前的地盘，由驴象两党分而治之呢。的亏是伪纪录片，要是真实的美国早就被玩坏了。

比起don't look up那种令人绝望的讽刺，我是真的很喜欢这种直白指桑骂槐演疯狂打脸的讽刺。

不如2020好看，看完电影还特意去看了google 2021 in review，同样的感觉。

what did I learn in 2021? I learned that nobody learned anything in 2020.更像正经纪录片了，可能真的是太离谱笑不出来了
整体来说很不错，我很喜欢，但不认为适合所有人，大多围绕美国，切笑点也比较美式，玩梗的方式不一定谁都理解。
这样自黑的勇气和气量，正是老美强大自信的表现；但明知故犯双重标准的无耻作风，也是老美在全球霸道甚至霸凌行径的写照。
和前一部相比，这部完全没有什么存在的必要。
7分比较fair，实在打不了4星。虽然don't look up也完成度一般，不过后者有一条完整故事线，虽然节奏慢、梗不够密集，但是可以由故事线持续吸引观众。讽刺形象的设置虽然直接粗暴，但是因为在故事里有各种维度的动作，所以形象还算丰满，讽刺不算言之无物。Death to 2021有点像加强高配版的暴走大事件，不是说这种形式不高级，而是因为以时间顺序串联的事件之间的link不够强，且本身的讽刺点还是不算密集。虽然由类似于Gemma被押走时候cue Floyd的 "I can't breathe"的梗，不过整体还是比较平淡。 202201 with YK
