The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 没有一分钟浪费的一部好电影，科技感和氛围渲染都很到位，看着不累人，又不至于落入俗套和无趣。
当然，当笨贼不因媒介和女性主题而笨时，也有其他笨的方式；当女性借助主题而强，其合理性也被帅气的反杀提升。
虎头蛇尾，除了主角所有角色都是工具人，摄影枯燥无比，故事一句话就能讲清楚。唯一的亮点可能是各种声音的交织。
前半段满分，从要出门开始拉垮，垮的彻底，真是可惜了前半段的剧情，镜头和她家装修风格是最爱
