The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. “当时我觉得我喜欢上你了 可惜我比你先长大了”“你已经能在现实的世界而非幻想的世界站起来了”旧剧场版是拒绝敞开心扉因此拒绝人类补完，新剧场版是相信人与人之间能互相理解因此拒绝补完，现在的我和过去的我和解了，能继续前进了。对于那个年代的观众来说，这部剧场版是童年的终结。

好看是好看，看懂是真没看懂，需要补课大量背景知识，不过也算是了却一桩心愿。
“真恶心”，全面缩回保守外壳，沦落为旗帜鲜明的日常保卫，不应当是这样。

制作太棒了，全程炸裂，大场面和特效是整个系列天花板级别的存在了，被帅到了，要是能在影院看imax版肯定会颅内高潮的。完成救赎，再见了，所有的eva.
很多之前的情节记不清了，本质上的情绪和主题跟旧版其实并无太大差别，仍旧是关于自我释放自我救赎相互和解的辩证法
等了7年的作品。动画只是动画，最终我们还是要回归生活。
哭只是释放自我，救不了任何人……
