The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 行將就木的魯班製作最後的工具，一把自掘墳墓的鐵鏟，當然也敲醒了Taviani，而不是Pirandello。
画面很美，台词很美，服化道很美，配乐很美，但这故事讲得…真的有点无聊…不得不分四天才看完，也不是高困，就是想干点别的。
有些东西就不应该真人化。真人电影后，整部电影使人不得不对于这只狗进行一些更现实的思考，比如：如何铲屎
越是老导演的片子反而更加返璞归真，影像也不难理解，还能拍摄就是最大的意义吧
