导演视角、演员表演、角色困境融为一体，看似荒野中四顾茫然的人生，但每一程都使“人”的力量加增一分。

中方，中国导演赵婷自幼受社会主义教育。在赴美留学期间关注美国中部底层人民的流浪生活，并拍出一部电影展现了这个受一辈子美元奴役终在晚年决定追逐自己心灵的特殊群体，揭露了资本主义残酷的社会现实。

很喜欢这样的质感，接近纪录片的真诚。感谢导演，给了我宁静的片刻。

别一天到晚骂了，拍一部以老年女性为主角的“中国电影”，用脚投票去电影院支持它。两条能做到其中一条，你就很棒了！有朋友说这是一部无剧情、反情节、记录风的片子。我不同意。别的不说，电影里音乐满满的，情绪满满的，抒情诗般的镜头，纪录片不是这个拍法啊，又不是《舌尖上的中国》，而且也是有情节有主线的，互为回文，前后呼应。科恩嫂这种大女主应该不是天生的，敬佩。

看到弗兰一次次行走在旷野里，原本以为是她选择了孤独也接受了这种孤独，看到后来才知道她是被困在精神的孤域里难以逃离，用流浪填补自己心里的空洞。Nomad在物质上抛弃了束缚，然而精神上的负担却并未随着时间的流逝而减轻，看得人喘不过气。75岁的斯万基回忆起曾乘着皮划艇在爱达荷的河边看到的画面，一只白色鹈鹕落在艇上、有上百只燕子飞翔在空中、河面的倒影、雏燕的蛋壳从悬崖落到水面，她是在世界上认真活过的人，他们的生命里都带着对自然的感悟力，他们都是诗人。人生无永别，我也相信有缘总会再见的。See you down the road.
毫无疑问，它值得一看，甚至二刷。因为除开壮阔的风景，动人的配乐，真切的故事，利落的剪辑之外，很想多看几遍弄清楚它到底表达了哪些。贫穷？生活方式？追求与平静？抑或是人类这种高智商社会性动物已经彻底与自然对立了吗？另外，它也让我们实实在在体会到真实是如何震撼人心：影后已经演得那么棒了，但在真实人物面前却依然缺了几分力量。
画面好美，很多单元都很感人。
