The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 印度版《辩护人》，案子很简单，不如《辩护人》有那么重大的本国历史事件作为背景显得那么宏大，但是对于印度千年来的“以种族姓氏来区分阶级”的制度来说，电影中的案件已经可以代表印度的大事件了，拍摄可以，表演还能更好，剧本还可以再自然一些。3星。

印度 Police 的黑暗执法，尤其是虐人的过程，太震撼人心，绝对是所有正规电影之中最惨无人道的视觉呈现...
印度电影打动我的总是题材，而非美学风格。看完本片心里很难过。印度固然有极其愚昧野蛮的一面，但起码其精英阶层是愿意认同并且努力拥抱支撑起现代文明社会的柱石的，所以这个国家是充满活力且大有希望的。

除开现实意义外，电影本身也是相当成熟完整，各方面都做得非常棒，160分钟叙事无断层，金句很多。

又想哭又想笑，让人想到自己的过去，又能感触到当下的人生，青春已不在，但我依旧希望自己能fire，只要我努力，那就不应该被看轻。
过誉之作，题材好、底层故事好，跟电影好完全是两码事。用这种浮夸bgm+略带中二的方式呈现这么沉重的题材，个人接受无能。电影表达也板正平庸，没什么可说的，白白浪费一个好题材，甚至可以说是拍得相当肤浅，流于表面。
