The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 《芬奇》又是这样一部典型的作品。末世人类的世界设定，关于抵达目的地同是又是自我认知的追寻旅程。主角芬奇与机器人杰夫互为镜像同时又成为了传承。以上这些其实仍然是常见的公路电影的内在核心。只是《芬奇》显得更有决心，因为整个片子的正序叙事中没有出现第二个人类。也正因为如此，《芬奇》唯一的缺点可能正是过于工整，过于四平八稳了。

上一个这么好哭又好笑的机器人还是Wall-E，再上一个是T-800。好莱坞惯会的就是新瓶装旧酒，但有些时候不得不承认别人的瓶子的确好看。
老年人版的《少女终末旅行》。狗萌，汤姆汉克斯演技依然爆表，机器人有点意思，其他部分非常平庸。
泪奔……好片！没有个人英雄主义，只有一个垂暮老人、一条狗、一个有感情会做梦的机器人。
