The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 剧本意外的工整，几处伏笔也挺精妙，导演功底较差，故事节奏忽快忽慢，人物情感铺垫短平直，总体来说算是及格的作品
有笑点有泪点，前中期处理的都不错，后期剧情方面有点拉垮。没有刻意的去煽情，而是情绪刚要出来的时候咔给你一下子让你笑，这点我不知道处理的好不好，但我挺喜欢。

搞笑中还探讨了一些出狱人士的再就业问题，但故事发展有点过于理性，内容也不太深刻。
出乎意料的还不错，细节上再打磨打磨，应该是个小成本佳作！

表演参次不齐，部分演员剧院味道太重（尤其屋内对峙那里），配音有挽救，可还是些微突兀，为演员和导演捏把汗的功夫，神儿就跳出去了。
