剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     candyman不是一个人，而是一个社群，有着蜂巢的连结与传承。历史遗留问题根深蒂固，一个系统的病症，肤色和阶级问题带来的黑人群体生命价值被忽视（如最后白人警察不由分说枪杀男主），这时镜子的寓意就更意味深长。男主设置艺术家的身份也很有玩味，包括洗衣房老板打造candyman，其中透露出强烈的作品性，一种抽离出来高高在上的不真实性，这也是对部分黑人群体（混入白人社群的中产和怨天尤人的极左）的一种讽刺吧。缺点就是结尾节奏有点崩了，整体体量太小，过于平淡。

    包着urban legend惊悚片外衣的政治隐喻剧情片，可能想重现《绝命镇》的辉煌？但人家至少还有细思极恐的惊悚感…不论简单的剧情和内核，冲着讲究的场景设计和美学风格给四星，虽然看的时候除了画面没有其他印象深刻的地方。
