The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 战争永远都是残酷的，但决定战争的只有利益与欲望，从无其它！
对于当代史的构建，音乐、电影、剧集、综艺等所有的流行文化堆砌成普通中产家庭孩子的童年，“亲身”参与了历史的大事件，并自觉地把自己当作是其中一份子，所谓的想象也在那一刻变成了真实，这是一种非常深刻的认同。我小时候看《泰坦尼克号》，没看完结局就睡着了，海水冲进船舱的画面成了不灭的记忆。主观不喜欢这部作品的原因在于，破碎到像是在做文献综述，呕吐“暂停了”50分钟属实没有必要。

目标受众：1970年在得克萨斯州长大的白人。 画风有点像印刷版画，相对独特。童年回忆部分有些冗长，像是导演童年记忆简单的堆积。个人共鸣不多，画风也不是特别能接受，暂不推荐。
沉浸式旅行，在六十年代的休斯顿。真假有些分不清了，这才满足对童年的定义吧。
