The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 当权力要作恶的时候，包括法律程序都要变成其帮凶。人们并非不知道权力的丑陋，只是因为软弱他们选择了岁月静好。体制并非无法被撼动，只是需要躺下成为滚木的受难者。
不得不说，艾伦索金的剧本功力太了得了，美国人拍这种题材也是出神入化。 整个电影张力十足，最后的结案陈词差点看哭。为什么一直用理想对抗不公，为什么一直没有放弃，因为全世界再看！
法庭片这个种类在国内是没有的，二欧美的则越拍越精彩，文斗比武斗还要好看。
有笑料，有讽刺，混乱又有条理，法庭上还有很亮眼的台词。本来给个四星，不过冲着国内想拍也拍不出来，特意给五星。
艾伦索金来做这个项目再合适不过：这是个典型的好莱坞作业，但在猛烈的悲壮情绪势在必行的情况下，他插入刻薄、反讽和喜剧式语言寻求平衡，人物群像在回溯事件的交叉念白中得以塑造，唯一的缺憾是法官作为工具人在可能没有更好的存在方式了
是个精彩的好故事，仅此而已。压迫式的直白观点输出真的爱不起来。

本部电影的人物刻画从这一点来看，仍然有不足之处，挖掘得不够透彻，而法庭上的冲撞对决，插科打诨，很难说会有多少精彩之处。
