The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 挺松散的一个片子，围绕着一个法国离异家庭的几年表现了法国家庭与对青少年的影响。主要表达了一种人文主义精神和关怀，还有对家庭爱人的定义，通过解构主义方式。
