Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
动作戏尚可，剧情逻辑有些混乱，不如扬长避短
虽然有些稚嫩和不足，但不得不说主创们在用心创作，照此下去，天朝武侠剧大有希望……

导演是徐浩峰迷吗 情节问题不少，一些表演也差点，胜在氛围
有人说是有 徐浩峰的动作电影的影子（徐浩峰什么时候成标杆了） 也是模仿浪客剑心和一点日本剑戟片边角料
很良心的网大，比啥悍刀行好出几条街，非常专业的武侠兵击动作，不是因为资金不足的话，补补文戏就是精品武打动作片了。希望以后多一点这种会武术懂武术的导演出现，才能把武侠片做得更好，摒弃那些威亚吊着飞就以为自己是动作片的渣片
今年少有得把心思都花在功夫上的功夫片，看功夫片不就是看功夫嘛？
故事简明的复仇题材西部片。特点在干脆的剧情发展，没有过多铺垫不拖沓，角色潇洒随性，没有过多“啰嗦”。亮点在动作戏，各种死法有点新鲜。特别是片尾处 boss的真相告白有些意外，其实从前面他逗孩子和让捡金牙也能看出一点蛛丝马迹
导演在看了《倭寇的踪迹》《双旗镇刀客》《绣春刀》《水浒传之豹子头林冲》等等有的没的片单后自信爆棚感觉我能行，结果拍出来不但习作水准还毫无新意。

标准的以黑人为主体的美国西部电影，结局大战场面调控挺精彩的，还不错
我不信西部有这么多黑皮牛仔 拍出来自娱自乐的吧
TMD，又捅这里……（毙）这个的确是精华了，差点就给打7分了。这片子摄影画面都很不错的，可惜了导演不太行，剧情简单拍得更简单，演员演技台词也大多是拉胯。
卧槽，男主好帅，武侠动作也好看，一气呵成看完比较爽
剧情一般，西部武侠风，打戏不错，招式认真，没有花架，拼刀不拖沓，
刀客靠捞偏门挣钱，却被好兄弟出卖，幸得娇妻不弃，终获知命运无常。一个简短乏味的基层‘辅警’悲惨的人生故事，电影对有着第一刀客盛誉的人物塑造较为薄弱，看到些许《绣春刀》的影子，但不如后者扎实。
有不完美的地方，但是至少把该讲的故事给讲好了，比起那些连基本故事都讲不好的片子就强了一大截，整体剧本还行，动作戏很不错，人物塑造也不错，没有明显的缺点，4分肯定有，勉强可以上5分。一个好片子的标准其实并不高深，就是讲好一个故事。
整个片子的氛围（东邪西毒）一个姓林的男人老婆被人看上，然后自己被最好的朋友陆谦出卖判刑流放（水浒）千人斩满满的丁修感，老大一心想当官（绣春刀）磨刀（剑雨）最后的屠镇竟然隐隐神似（双旗镇刀客）。但确实是人物立不起来，所有的人设就像旁白在念而不是他自己的表演。
