本片翻拍於2015年國產犯罪片《解救吾先生》，由實力派演員黃政民以真實姓名出演原作劉德華所演的吾先生。該片的時長實際比原作縮短不少，但情節上更為緊湊，更有一種戲劇張力，合乎典型的韓國爆米花犯罪電影的水準。相對原作還原真實事件而追求的冷峻剋制，本片為了增加娛樂效果而加入更多緊張刺激的地方，黃政民在片中被神化，他能用演技和匪徒鬥智鬥勇，面臨生死關頭仍然保持理性和善意，關鍵時刻還能出手制服匪徒，編導如此改寫整個情節，除了拔高黃政民的主角光環外，還試圖用更多戲劇反轉和動作場面增加商業賣點。只是過於注重商業娛樂元素，使得整部電影變成流水線式的翻拍作品，只剩下黃政民的賣力表演可以一觀。
看的真是来气。警察几次看见绑匪，难道不会开枪吗一定非得跟他肉搏才能体现你厉害？

不及原版，别翻拍来翻拍去了，黄政民演技还是牛掰，坏人角色演得感觉还不够给王千源提鞋的😅
可能黄政民更像黄政民一些会好看一点吧，不然设定毫无新意…
普通动作片，意思不大，设定的魅力没有发挥出来
可惜了！不如不拍，没有颠覆大众对《新世界》的印象，反而加固了这些shadow
