剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     把三部曲和18年后的续集连起来看完，一下子就发现了断层。少了袁和平的动作设计简直是一场噩梦，尼奥说出I still know Kungfu时我笑了，除了出拳挨拳撞墙撞地哪有什么中国功夫的影子……老年基努里维斯身材还行，动作戏怕是快跟不上了。对当下流行文化的吐槽和对三部曲的归纳不能更精准，但崔妮蒂和史密斯形同摆设。当然，母体的设计思想也与时俱进，把一段历史困在一个游戏世界里以消磨人类的反抗意识是个很妙的点子，结尾人类跳楼当炸弹的桥段也是十足惊悚又惊艳，可惜对自由意志的再次探讨远不如三部曲，概括起来就是舍弃一个人类城、为救一个爱人。不能说是狗尾续貂，因为完全保持了前作的所有设定，更衍生出了新母体。这是一部难以用好坏去评价的电影。
