The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很出色也很温柔的电影。这一群电影人，精明的圆滑的见钱眼开的胆小怯懦的，但都不失善良，唯一的女性角色有好几处、虽然每处只有两三句台词，都说出女性的心声。一群男人围绕一个美女，不油腻不下流，感觉还挺好的。

尤其是三分之二的戏份里角色的站位和走位都很话剧，神态和表演也很流于表面，肢体动作多而夸张，哪哪儿都很话剧，哪哪儿都不电影。没有影像质感。
