During the US Civil War, Union POWs escape in a balloon and end up stranded on a South Pacific island, inhabited by giant plants and animals. In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 杰克·吉伦哈尔用独角大戏讲述了心理健康的重要性，题眼是broken people can save broken people，但联系现实中的美警新闻，太难对男主共情。
剧情方面和原版一样，封闭场景里的个人秀，一点都不闷，氛围紧张节奏飞快，高潮迭起。非常考验演员的演技，杰克吉伦哈尔明显hold住了，而且讽刺做得非常深刻，强烈推荐

创伤人和创伤狗相互救赎的公路片，但是这感情转折表现得其实不是太好。剧情也稍微无聊了点
故事的最后，帅哥和修狗幸福地生活在了一起❤️
人多一起看电影的好处就是大家都成了编剧各种猜测铺天盖地太有意思了
钱老板自导自演，没有突破，中规中矩，观感五味杂陈。典型的那种你说不好看还能看，你说能看又有点浪费时间，你说不感动又有点小心悸，你说感动又很难深陷其中的电影。钱老板+狗+公路片，平淡的犹如一碗佐餐的番茄鸡蛋汤而已，很温暖很家常，缺乏惊喜。
Jake Gyllenhaal演技在线，几乎独角戏，撑起了这个难看（很难看下去）的故事。反转不新鲜，但重要的两处都是对的，一个是让男主垮掉，一个则是让男主重新燃起希望从而正视自己的错误。另外两处反转的成立都建立于偏见挺有意思。
非一般狗子电影，没那么多人狗情未了，但是对狗子的忠诚和士兵的坚韧做了最大化的融合，“美狗”真的令人感动
敏感一点也没啥问题！老公真的既不能给人提供安全感，还不站在女主这边！啥也不行！
剧情紧凑，搞笑和抒情融合的蛮好，以及帅哥老钱与可爱狗狗！
成片的起承转合就很网飞，Jake的表演值得一看

美式翻拍标准答卷一例，想在背景、剧情细节和表演上做得更完满一些，其实反而失了趣味。
其实我自己看的时候倒是挺喜欢的
几乎不看公路片或者狗片的 看久违的查宁塔图姆还是很舒适的 这狗真是训练有素表演的好
狗狗电影总是很治愈啊。狗和ptsd老兵在去葬礼的路上互相救赎，虽然看了预告片基本概括全片剧情了，但还是挺感人，也有小幽默。看看狗的演技，下次不管啥片，选演员按照这个狗的水平是最低要求好吗。
