The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 类似于“养鬼吃人”的片子，有着北欧电影独特的奇幻和恐怖色彩，但情节处理的一般结局没能免俗。特效化妆不错。
中规中矩没有什么大破脑洞的地方，最好看的是最后两个镜头，最后的配乐也很美，其他收获是知道了芬兰语听起来什么样子，有这样可怕的妈还必须要从她那里获得认同感真的很可怜

芬兰迪库诺。导演说对她影响最大的电影是《小岛惊魂》，最喜欢的导演是黑泽明，本片有参考《ET》和《变蝇人》。
有点暗黑童话的意思，不过罐头小人也太可爱了，各种奇思妙想是我童年最爱啊！
这种隐喻片还挺有趣的，借着小姑娘养育一只小怪兽的故事来讲亲子关系、家庭教育以及前青春期的小女孩。
孵化出的小女孩演技比原本的小女孩演技好几个档，也是挺惊悚的。
概念老土、创作功利、质感粗糙。如果能真的把家庭部分处理得像情景喜剧，可能会稍微好一点。

#Sundance 2022 3.5星，虽然剧情并不像，但却莫名觉得看了一部芬兰版的《遗传厄运》是怎么回事...以及妈妈这个角色演得真好尤其是皮笑肉不笑的时候。（这片子里的芬兰语听起来好像泰语）
还行吧，青春期女孩的反叛，比较直白，观感一般，这妈挺吓人
