The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 情色片的壳，惊悚片的肉，伦理片的核，97年的女主非常匹配这个角色，又人畜无害身材颜值又顶，整体光影氛围也都到位，片子想表达的东西不多，也基本表达到位了

纽约高级公寓的大窗户，使得这部电影的质感极佳。纽约那种使人冷静的天气，使得这部电影氛围极佳。

前面一个小时觉得女主好讨厌，后面的反转其实有点俗，但结局我还蛮喜欢的
梅兰尼罗兰做为一位曾经年轻貌美的演员，执导出如此一部电影也太过牛逼了吧！没看过原著，但感觉电影的年代感和文学性好强，服化道也是一流的。到底谁才是真正的疯子？在那个疯子和社会精英共处一室的舞会上，衣冠楚楚的绅士们露出了张牙舞爪的一面，更加狰狞丑态百出，变态扭曲的社会，真正的疯子反而制定了社会的话语权，而柔弱的女人只能被压迫被管理，在疯人院，不疯的人也活活被逼疯。结尾很传统但也很治愈，就算肉体被禁锢，只要灵魂是自由的只要有信念在，前方总有希望。大海边的女人和在疯人院椅凳此时合为了一体。
