The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 因为一种“我想做点什么”的朴素心情伸出的援手，在美国空域关闭的背景下发生。紧急状态下维持多元的自由国际主义童话，节奏很快，笑点很多，我看的时候却久久不能摆脱那种讽刺感，911啊911，在三十多分钟的时候，中止罢工的校车司机，带着非洲人到救世军营地，非洲人不肯下车，语言不通，校车司机看到对方捧着圣经，圣经的章节编号总是一样的，“看，腓利比书4：6”，Be anxious for nothing。“我们就是这样开始说起了同样的语言”。啊。还是随之泪目了。以及美国第一位女机长，在讲述自己成长的漫长故事之后，说我最爱的被用作炸弹，啊。我知道这只是stop the world 的小岛呼告，但我想世界本该如此。
比想象的欢乐，虽然有些笑点没get到。基于911背景的真实故事，又是疫情期间百老汇恢复的第一次演出，现实意义远大于内容。作为一部音乐剧，感觉唱段有点少，也没有太令人印象深刻的曲子。机长的高音真是又稳又轻松，Diane那段I'm here也很棒
过度煽情，但眼泪不值钱，歌不错，特别是机长姐姐那首。

真是以小见大的好作品！用纽芬兰小岛上的温情和爱来对抗人类历史上最具毁灭性的恶性事件，非常令人感动！对迫降事件后，社区各个层面的反应刻画得也非常还原。考拉唱得真好！
喜欢到说不出话来 又好笑又好哭 最喜欢的就是女机长那幕了
整片励志感人。虽是舞台表演。但故事讲述非常清楚。可以想象很多画面。
群像戏演得很好，很多主题，很正向，也很多泪点。人类的悲歌总会伴随着赞歌。
十二位演员，十二把椅子，如此精彩！感谢官摄。

几千旅客因为911滞留小镇的故事。说是音乐剧改编但更像是音乐剧录像。情节简单，音乐不错。
一个时代创伤被用这么温柔温暖的笔触抚慰 大哭一场的同时也感觉被治愈了
几个人，一个舞台，几把椅子，表演出了地球村的感觉，回到那个充满关怀和温暖的年代，美中不足是没有亚裔的演员，少了点什么
太美好的歌舞剧了 只字不提911 奇妙的视角刻画了每一个人
人文关怀满分！就是旋律不太抓耳，欠那么点儿意思。
