The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 画面挺好，一如导演以往的风格，看着也有点意思，但真没啥感觉
另外，毕竟贴上了百合文艺片的标签，你可以拍校园闺蜜，可以拍职场暧昧，可以拍檐下接吻，还可以拍被窝做爱，但你啥都没有，而且矛盾起伏，从无到有从有到无的过程也不表现，你让我如何评价呢？

节奏过于拖沓，完全可以压缩到两小时内讲完，主题虽尖锐敏感，但故事性不强，表达方式过于俗套，类似题材例如「亲爱的同志」就做的很好。
