The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 生活与游戏重叠，现实与理想交织，主角团四人参赛的出发点各有不同，谁能相信这样四个人也能组成一只王牌战队，可是随着一次又一次的战斗，信任和依赖悄然建立，肖汉最后的逆袭虽然有些理想主义，但是我愿意相信这就是现实。
看一个泥沼中绝望挣扎的青少年怎样愚蠢疯狂的把自己搞成更糟糕境地的。我真的受够了慌不择路做蠢事变更惨的事了。到结尾我也没觉得事情好到哪里去：炮友出于好感帮女主担下篓子就完事了？手链卖了还债还有钱继续生活交电费买药吗？就算亲爹去看了妈妈墓地抑郁症还会不会再复发？女主万一不“巨他妈好相处”丢工作怎么办？啊啊啊啊我比主人公还焦虑……（女主的分裂厚下唇和短短的屁股下巴好醒目，还总让我想起朴信惠。）
虽然一个日本人十几天练出让本地人惊叹的弗拉明戈舞是否真实，但至少感情和气势不错。
片尾的点题和bgm让人为之一振，对的人比药更能治愈你。
分镜正到爆！！好多都想截图来着！音乐也很好听！因为爱你所以变得脆弱这个好真实呢，制作人的OVA会有么？？十分想看！！话说发情天使吃的那锅饭没事吧哈哈哈哈哈！
蠢太说想方设法让高人无法离开他，其实根本就是他无法离开高人了吧。
期待高了，影片设定很好，也很有诚意，把游戏的内核转化了部分出来，并且制作上很有水准。但是还是比较套路，没有太在意现实的部分，故事就显得比较假。但在网大里应该算是很好的水平了，而且本来针对的就是网大的受众。
这个编剧还写了《无可救药》，不擦不擦
虽然是网大，但真的很良心。质感和细节设置、搞笑程度完全不输院线电影。肖汉的故事充满着戏剧性，但他的挣扎和坚持却感染着我，这个人物很有魅力。
希望有个人也能将我从一团糟的生活中拯救出来。莫名想到《疯狂玛丽的约会》，两者基调很像，但《好相处》一直在治愈。
本片没有在影院上映是同期院线电影的幸运，枪战的视觉效果玩出了新花样
第一次看这种类型的电影，第一视角太爽了，氛围感拉满！游戏中队友的吐槽虽然多是作为背景音出现，但确实很还原现实中对战的情形，我也会碰到这样碎碎念的队友。

很容易忘记人设是十八岁。jo刚成年就面对贫穷、疾病、生离死别的困扰，一想到这个顿时和令人焦虑的剧情和解了
虽然觉得这剧情有点不ok的，结局竟然还流下了🐊的💧……
音乐很棒，忽闪的光点和游泳情节都挺不错。但成品不止一般，而是有点烂俗了。
啊，抱胁剧场版，顺便点进剧版词条，距离看完剧版已经过去三年半，下巴阴影都不见了啊！也就看个热闹吧，情怀完全说不上，作画也透露着贫穷，讲道理这隔靴挠痒的肉渣还不如没有。
