埃及艳后服饰与台词，象征了她的悲剧命运。椅子背面对话暗示布克知道秘密。门镜重叠斗殴加剧了混乱效果。特效非常尴尬。推理部分过于薄弱。

比《东方快车谋杀案》好看一点点。但是还是自恋加弱化推理。加了点时下流行的元素，很美的风景。然后全围着爱情转。
艾米汉莫接角色之前还是认真看看剧本吧，西蒙这个角色从一开始就没有被认真对待（就是为了衬托盖尔加朵而存在的）。好好爱惜羽毛，记得你是Oliver。
不好看，3/4内容毫无意义，侦探推理过程完全没有，完全不知道剧本是怎么写成这样的。
非常平庸的改编，导演依旧喜欢给自己加戏，不过结尾没有放飞，前面疯狂水时间，以至于案件收尾太潦草……
推理呢？而且凶手轻易就招了，手帕的证据是怎么指向他们的没有说清楚啊……制作是很精良，特效也不错，但是哎…
论为什么布拉纳明明知道自己过于自恋，还全程夸张表演？为什么加朵美艳刚强，还总演神人勿近的冷淡花瓶角色？全片弥漫着上世纪好莱坞浮夸爱情片的质感。
肯尼斯提名奥斯卡是真的水。

60/100 看得出肯尼斯·布拉纳还是在努力地为原作注入自己的东西，并试图深化爱情这一主题。结果是，案件本身除内置角色种族的改动（和对称构图上的舒适），其余并无亮眼创新之处，反倒是开头和结尾波洛罗曼史的多余存在。
看了小说竟然标记过……………………而且看书的时候还忙猜出了凶手………………
