The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 还是一如既往的温和与英雄迟暮，可惜这部《Cry Macho》除了剧作规整之外也没有什么其他闪光之处了，东木头仍有精力自导自演是一件很令人钦佩的事情，只是在不断地重复的同时也能发觉越来越力不从心，I don't know how to cure "old."。

温情有余，就是没什么劲，毕竟这是个现代片，可能更像他本人的侧写了。结尾还是要来一下，小男孩说他会去，也是考虑到要给老头一个好的归宿。不然的话怎么办？美国的关口肯定是被爸爸堵住的，所以留在墨西哥逃亡吗？这点strong和grit才是男孩应拥有的，所以macho送给了老头，是从前那个男人的纪念。
故事开始的不太成立 整体也不太合理 倒是不太影响温情
其实他还健康的偶尔拍拍东西，我们就该感恩了不是吗，这就足够了。
想起来一个事，拍《完美的世界》时候东木就是个老头了，那时候凯文·科斯特纳还是个小伙，现在凯文·科斯特纳都已经是老头了，东木还是个老头。
老少配公路片就是我的雷点，即使是东木，也是暮气沉沉，毫无生意。
90岁还能谈恋爱，太强了。

5 老爷子以一种就是要完成任务的方式结束了电影，尽管有人会不接受，爱谁谁。
本来义无反顾一开场就准备给老爷子五星的，可是这次的故事和演员表现真的让人看不下去
《廊桥遗梦》中的东木老爷子确确实实有其独特的男人魅力，但本片中还不断有女人倒贴就多少有些他想展现自己不服老的意味了。

很无聊的公路片，东木太老了，还黄昏恋，不合理
一老一少，一段road trip，路上遇见的人都帮他们，女人爱主角，问题都能迎刃而解。不行，即便这是东木的，也不行。
饒了老頭吧 講沒幾句就喘成那樣....... 還要他去救你兒子???
慢慢讲故事的东木老爷子，能看出确实是老了，身子有些驼了，有时候还是能看到坚毅的眼神但是难掩暮年神伤。一老头，一小孩儿，一只鸡，一段公路之旅，故事形式很老套，情结也没有多少跌宕起伏扣人心弦，简单看看不错。
