The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 这部《捉鬼敢死队》的续集《超能敢死队》，整体风格延续了前作，有致敬也有创新，视听效果在7500万美元的制作成本下，还是有保证的，动作场面虽然不多，但也足够精彩。“蚁人”保罗·路德的加盟，为影片增加了不少看点。
儿童片也在大踏步的退化，还有就是这村里肤色够全的。
重啟經典的公式劇情，藉由新世代在老屋中的探索，讓觀眾重溫系列的設定，逐漸完成兩代間的傳承，但由新世代接手任務的過程與動機似乎不具說服力，在孫女與孫子上看不太到對祖父事業的感動，反派所製造的末日場景也不夠有威脅，唯一完美的大概只有滿是情懷的結尾高潮。
【D】对傲慢与偏见灾难性的改编，无聊且令人困惑，但时髦华丽背后却是完全的僵硬和刻意式的虚情假意。作为骄傲月的开端大作，完全辜负了期待…

像这样所有的剧情起承转合都照搬傲慢与偏见的电影，剧本首先就是懒惰到极致了，况且新编部分还极度狗血老套俗气……完全是盲赚lgbt电影的关注度
這個電影在電影院看應該還好，自己看就是狂翻白眼，男主男二的性格實在沒啥意思，就很煩自視清高實際半桶水的主角，還不如看Will和Dex，Charile和Will，或者Charile和Dex也不錯，都比主角幫有意思，支持這三個人交叉互搞開OF賬號
剧情很低幼 最后老爷子们出场还是蛮泪目的 for Harold
Will真的很像赵文瑄，Dex全片最美我可以。
【C】不是说他不好 毕竟也是纯血续集 情怀还是比较到位的 但剧情安排真的俗套大杂烩 每一句台词 每一个设定都把俗套拿捏的死死的 可以说做到了全程没留下任何一点惊喜 片子的定位感觉更偏向儿童向电影 虽然影片有经典IP的加持 但依旧还是觉得平庸了些
这官中字幕也太烂了，，，宁愿没有都更好理解一点，，ps杨伯文总是配角配得太出彩，把主角的光芒夺得一点不剩

跟《尚气》只能看开头的20分钟不同，这片只能看最后的20分钟。把许多人童年的经典《捉鬼敢死队》拍成儿童片没有问题，问题是拍成了儿童烂片。一流的特效+不入流的故事。幸好最后1984年的四位队员回来露脸了。
