A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

每个时代每个导演都应该有自己的彗星撞地球。从这点上说，这版至少是及格了。
化妆那几个大特写带来的疲惫感尤其打动我，随后“抵触玩笑化一切”的控诉也很棒，Leon从《荒野猎人》开始就觉悟了，如果解决不了每次爆发都过火的问题，那就选对和自己的过火匹配的角色和情境。亚当麦凯的剪辑语气也是从《大空头》开始我就喜欢的，有很多我们上手的时候直觉上会觉得太短、太长、太跳的情况都频繁出现，实际上非常有效，那些彻底遵从最潜在的联想逻辑的组合就不说了，像詹妮弗劳伦斯在办公室骂街那种时刻更是精妙，在最有爆发力的最后一句“You are gonna die”上剪断，直接切到一个寂静无声的太空空镜，不仅仅是让无力感扑面而来，更像一次标尺的突然切换：“在宇宙的尺度上，无事发生”。

技术、权力、资本的马太效应是现实；上位者的庸碌与外强中干是恶搞，或许也是现实；影片所展示的社交网络、算法对生活的入侵与真实世界如出一辙，令人惶恐；末日临头时爱人、家人、友人陪伴在身旁，便是心安。
看完只能说哇哦，原来把现实拍出来就成黑色幽默了，「我只想把事实说出来，怎么就成犯罪了」

结局给五星。从“彗星撞地球”到这部“别抬头看‘彗星撞地球’”，我们见证人类精气神的逐渐下跌，可能还不是谷底，就是坠落、坠落下去……
神仙阵容，MS女二、KB女三，甜茶A妹戏份都还行！只有CE是客串了几秒。很有趣，想讽刺的点太多了，不能说都完成了，但起码蜻蜓点水都点到了，而且整部片看下来轻巧舒畅，虽然是讲末日，但真的挺适合抗疫期间放松心情，毕竟轻科幻+轻喜剧+轻寓言如今太少见了。凯特大魔王真诱惑啊！别说教授，我隔着屏幕都顶不住！梅姨最后也是晚节不保，如果不是替身的话可谓牺牲巨大。
政客、资本家、媒体、民众……自私、贪婪、愚蠢、盲目……毁灭吧，赶紧的。
Excellent movie! I’m glad that they put this story on the big screen. Hopefully more of those who didn’t realize it now finally did. However I doubt that. Leave alone the incorrigible ones. It’s time for the intelligent people to reconsider it seriously: are we truly smart to let those stupid guys in charge and put us into such a situation?
火力全开了，这个世界需要更多的讽刺喜剧！尤其是在这个年代。
如果是以前看我会乐不可支，而现在我觉得无奈，这个世界真就这么荒谬，真该来个彗星团灭了算了，人类就配这个

竟然不觉得长，看得津津有味，看似漫不经心随意随性，其实塞满了梗讽刺深入节奏精心，很好看了
这可太写实了！这彗星不就是现在的疫情么！look up和dont look up，不就是清o党和非o零党么！就连试图管理，却失败都如此一致，真的太他妈真实了！还有润哈哈哈哈哈真的嘲讽到极致！当然有一点点不一样，当那颗地球上的动物生灵面对毁灭，而在这里动物们因为人类被困住而变得自由了。
不知道是不是因为cast的阵容实在太过抢眼，好像大家对于本片有很高的anticipation. 其实真的要对Adam McKay祛魅啊，他或许只是想拍一部披着政治讽刺外壳的贺岁喜剧“爽片”，所以虽然梗尬且无新意，一众“影帝”“影后”轧戏还是很有看头的；尽管笑点也确实是SNL的水平，但是要达到entertaining的效果是足够了。可以肯定的是，网飞给足了钱，所以大荧幕看声效视效是在线的，能看到ArianaGrande献声以及地球终于在American saviorism的作用下“毁灭”，于我而言已经是足够了。p.s.: don't look up as a campaign discourse对于build the wall的mockery实在太明显了吧哈哈哈
【前排提示最后有彩蛋，两个~】讽刺爽片，我愿意给五星，一屏幕的梗，哈哈哈哈。剪辑牛逼！听说这片在美国评分很低，他们急了呀。从来没有get到过梅姨的演技，对她的表演方式极其不感冒，但在这里狠狠get到了那种恰到好处严丝合缝的表演，一本正紧滴hilarious！大魔王被化得妈都不认，看到1/3才认出来TAT……A妹那首歌超好听，但歌词实在太搞笑，魔幻现实主义啊~p.s.婊姐这戏份怎么好意思找小李要一番？？？
