The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 哈哈哈大概只有我沉浸在kc博士的演讲里吧，声情并茂讲述月球是个空心巨型结构真的很有意思
【C】很少用过时来形容一部电影，但这部电影真的让我觉得非常过时…最重要的是观众可能是抱着《2012》的期待值去看的，结果看到的是一部超低配版《星战》，如果我是在一个20年前的夜晚在睡前看到电影频道偶然看到这片的话我会觉得很好看，但毕竟现在已经不是20年前了。另外对白和角色写的都是些什么…角色情绪和情感完全是无的状态，编剧真这么好当的吗…
就故事也一般特效也一般啥都一般，就新增了个“戴森球”的名词。。。
好莱坞第一灾难片大师，艾默里奇也是江郎才尽了，本该是其拿手好戏的科幻灾难类型片，却是剧情一部比一部扯淡，灾难场面表现更是一直在重现自己以往的作品，老调重弹，缺乏新意，惜哉惜哉！！！
单论画面的话还是挺震撼，然后别的，还是就看看画面吧
离谱它妈给离谱开门，真是离谱到家了！非常老派甚至有些落伍的灾难片，视效其实也没什么想象力，看得视觉疲惫。几位演员合格完成角色，导演优秀的业内水平交货，故事是三流科幻网文。整个电影院睡一片。落伍的美式价值观在如今的电影院里显得格外令人反感和自大。
想看很久了是因为我初中也写过有关月球坠落的小小说。。。电影总的来说还是那一套，命题模板作文实在没什么意思，换一百个设定能套壳写出一百部类似的，而且人类起源那点简直鬼扯到不可思议，外星人祖先也就算了还黑一把AI我真服了。唯一出彩的是特效，海啸上天和月球内部的CG制作年度奇观，不过快进看完也就只能记住这些了
只是想看看月球到底咋陨落的，没想到这剧情似乎已经被编剧放弃了，只需要看看大场面就可以了。不得不说，感觉里面杂糅了各种经典科幻，却又因为不是第一次太俗套了。山姆虽然可爱，但在这里太不讨喜了，感觉整体逻辑比流浪地球还糟糕……场面还没流浪地球精致……
1亿多刀的成本，真的不是国内外公司联手在洗钱吗？
当科幻片看还不错，不过有些人物加进去怪怪的，话说导演没必要为了追求某些地区的票房特意选角！
虽然设定很有趣，但连导演自己都觉得扯，于是用了130分钟疯狂向观众解释合理性，使一部特效灾难爽片丧失了最基本的趣味性。
这哪是灾难片，分明是怪兽片……艾默里奇也开始走这种无聊的路子了，全剧几乎只有最后十分钟看着有点意思。
编剧用残存的智力选中了月球由来这个谜，但是后面扯的就不着边际了
从一半开始看，从网友们的评论得知，似乎刚刚好哈哈哈。感觉不错啊，尽管有点扯，但科幻嘛，哪有什么对错。中国姑娘没有打酱油，没有拖后腿，迄今为止美国大片里表现最优秀的。
“现在你是月球的一部分了”
及格之作，5.5的评分过低了。虽然不乏幼稚幼稚的设定和硬凹的感情线还有那突兀的中国交换生情节，但是也有扎实绚丽的科幻画面和异想的巨型架构设想也是能及格的。
《外星人就在月球背面》登上银幕，这个理论其实挺不错的。虽然老套吧，剧情场景也很好看。
剧情绕一大圈，绕回人工智能袭击人类的主题。数十亿年前人类曾经的祖先曾在银河系遥远的地方拥有繁荣的文明，并从母星扩张向宇宙，在太空中构建许多繁荣的生活基地，这些基地由中央智能计算机系统控制；但人工智能突然有了自我意识，变成了无数的纳米蜂群，向所有生物展开袭击；人类失败后，逃至银河系的一个秘密角落，用装甲飞船构建了行星结构，由良性的人工智能操作，用捕获的白矮星作为能源予以驱动，并孕育新的生命；但随即又被人工智能蜂群摧毁，只有月球内部的行星结构得以幸免于难；人工智能旨在袭击有生命的电子设备，于是，人类祖先选择自我牺牲，在宜居的太阳系重新播种人类基因，孕育新的人类文明。最后布莱恩、富勒、豪斯曼3人驾驶中国提供的着陆器用电磁脉冲弹摧毁了人工智能蜂群
有些想法设定还是不错，但是这剧情也太“自我复制”了吧，剧情上的想象力全无。
