The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 不必抬高期望，本来就是去年华纳为了给HBO Max造势才计划制作的，虽然推迟了一年但也还是匆忙潦草。幕后主创回忆的选角花絮大多都是12年纪录片的重复，加塞了一些乱七八糟的人，环节也很流水，甚至不如Will and Grace大选特辑来得有诚意。确实很想吐槽，但是你看着这些熟悉又老去的面孔，重聚在一起，说着那些大家烂熟于心的台词，欢笑落泪，又觉得什么都能原谅了。回到S1E1，Monica或许早就预言了这次reunion，“It sucks and you’re gonna love it.”致最后一次重聚。

9年啊，人生有多少个9年啊；
时隔多年，所有人都变了模样，唯一不变的还是对亲爱的老友们下一次重聚的期待。
无论是白发皱纹还是肚腩，还是无法改变他们的友谊，这太棒了。

新剧场版四部看下来，Mari的存在还是那样莫名其妙，感觉就是生硬地从Asuka那里抢了一些戏份

对老设定的大幅修改让人一头雾水，华丽画面的反面是疲软的叙事，不过很明显庵野秀明这些年也逐渐放下了“故弄玄虚”的故事内核，TV原作中脆弱而别扭的红蓝黑三人组在相互的羁绊和各自的旅途中得到了成长，作为本系列的终结，这个结局也反映了一代老中二人梦醒时分回归社会的现实。

请剧组把所有的花絮笑场幕后全都放出来吧，光看这六个人在一起插科打诨就足够了。
自古美人叹迟暮，不许英雄见白头。对粉丝来说，观看这种访谈其实是有一丝丝心酸的。无数人和本剧建立起羁绊，影响他们的人生，在TVshow这个领域，我愿称它为前无古人后无来者。

谁看了不想说一句“就这？” 但用这短短的时间回忆起自己和剧集相遇的日子以及那段反复观看的时光，大概人人都会有不同的感触。
这么说吧，十季236集，我熟到点开任何一集的开头就能和你说整集在讲什么。
就是看个情怀 至于为什么十七年都没有聚到一起 为什么十五年后不可能再聚 总觉得也许有些表面看不出来的瓜吧
“当美好的事物告一段落，总会令人感到伤感的。”永远无法复刻的经典，早已融入在观众的记忆里，即使很多情节已模糊不清，但偶被拾起，曾经追剧的快乐，有老友相伴的温馨，那点滴的欢声笑语便又yesterday once more。
