The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 拍得还算不错，絮絮叨叨地带观众走入导演自己的少年时代。要说共鸣是难，却很容易代入自己的年少时光，陷入一些怀念之中。

昨日世界即将落幕，旧时秩序已经站在了悬崖边缘，战乱很快将要来临。于是我对美好未来的向往只能寄托于平行世界的梦境。
非常棒！一直在碎碎念，把60年代美国用儿童的视角念出来，很有意思！我和我家小朋友都看的津津有味。正好最近学校在搞航天科技活动。话说，我真怀疑是真人演的，然后转动画，表情动作太逼真！

实在太无聊，起码三分之二都在怀旧陈述想当年，画风个人还是能够接受，就是看得昏昏入睡，完全让人无法代入和觉得有趣...
目标受众：1970年在得克萨斯州长大的白人。 画风有点像印刷版画，相对独特。童年回忆部分有些冗长，像是导演童年记忆简单的堆积。个人共鸣不多，画风也不是特别能接受，暂不推荐。
真实还原了战争的血腥和残酷，这一点来说是优秀的现代战争佳片。但对于战争的反思，人性的拿捏还是差了点火候。男主一家全被炸死这一段，演技合格，但没爆发出来，全剧都是在这样的压抑和克制里。是合格的了解历史的战争片。
