The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 太好看了，太好听了！当校车司机拿过陌生语言的圣经，按照熟悉的编号告诉语言不通的游客“不用担心”时、当他们来到全纽芬兰同性恋最多的小镇时、当他们在同一个地方向不同的神祇祈祷着同一件事时、当她身为美国第一位女机长却听闻热爱的飞机变成炸弹时、当她们都有着一个消防员儿子时、当他们因一件恶性事件相遇又相爱时，我笑与泪不绝。而当他们改变着装、饮下尖叫、亲吻鳕鱼时，纽芬兰瞬间升起了太阳。
非常美式正确的剧，Me and Sky里面 'Be Patient. Just see what happens.'
有时候也需要一些温暖的鸡汤，真情动人。对灾难的讲述切入点很特别，技术上很强（卡司也太累了吧）

编排完美，歌舞和这种题材太搭了，让人激情昂扬。只有在困境中才能看出一个地方的素质，是否能考虑到尽可能多的情况，关心少数群体，保护动物，人们互相帮助载歌载舞，这才是人性的闪光之处。女机长的独唱更是激励人心。
