The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 一点都不浪漫，刻板印象大杂烩…Maybe I am old fashioned…亚裔为什么把自己的位置放那么低呢？And，男主好多管闲事…
不过整个叙事过程中确实重点和角度出了问题，Noah的旁白贯穿始终，又反复在自己和Howie之间横跳，情感力度始终有点打不到人，略微可惜了。
唯一一处正常的地方就是主角认为《以你的名字呼唤我》很无聊

Gay chick lit版pride and prejudice？
同性恋什么时候才能停止drama和自怨自艾啊？
7.0/10。开篇就在援引Jane Austin，所以是现代彩虹版Pride and Prejudice没错啦，drama满满，表演有时候略微做作，但也确实会有共鸣。有些美好大概只能出现在文学和电影电视剧里，而不会在这个圈子里吧。Howie可爱。
Dex出场的那一笑真是好心动，可惜是渣男呜呜呜，下头了🥲
这确实是真实现实接地气的“同性爱情（这四个字可以随意排列组合）”故事，不管是在美国还是东亚。有时候真的觉得那些被封为经典的同性片中的同性形象只是迎合部分女观众，现实中很多同也许就是本片中的样子，有欢乐有烦恼有性有爱但愁苦相对来说少一点。
我说为什么这么新潮的背景下故事架构有点老派，原来是改编的《傲慢与偏见》，可是主CP的化学反应不是太够，戏份也比较少，豪伊比诺亚的存在感都强，多加一颗星给这份大胆颠覆性旧戏新说的勇气。
