The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 中规中矩的改编 没有特别抢眼的地方 优点是电影没有超过2小时…
苹果牵头联合A24一起搞了这个片子，该怎么说呢，今年的奥斯卡提名片看的越多就真的越不能不说：好莱坞真的没东西了，(尤其是好剧本)。
色调非常之美。但也就比Call me by your name差了好几个Love , Simon吧。

剧本在多次翻拍后已然没有过多新意，只能靠风格化的摄影与表演去突破，然而破不开原作的壁垒无疑又让当下的观众感到沉闷且繁缛。
