剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     6.0 梅尔·吉布森的小女朋友编剧、导演作品，传记类型片总体完成度是有的，所以分数及格。剧作节奏略有头重脚轻，Stu慕道过程乃至圣召的获得及回应之迅速用文化基础以及神视解答尚可理解；其绝不轻言放弃的性格在修道之路上没能更完美的呈现，忽略人物困境及拉低弧光，这可能和真实人物背景资料调查有关。最后其面对渐冻的戏比较传统调度，从其讲道中，可以说Fr.Stu是一个乐观幽默的人，把其整个生命经验天主的标记都把握，而不是割裂的看自己整个生命。很欣喜没有过度煽情成《一公升的眼泪》，也更突显体育类型中拳击运动对自我意识的价值。

    Narrative is fluent and the performance of the two leading roles are good enough. Still the main issue is about the script. As a documentary movie, clearly it wasn’t realistic enough. When there’s a challenge comes to them, the audience wants to know the whole process of how they dealing with it in such a awful situation not a frame of days number.

    宗教传记影片，但个人觉得导演的重点并非宗教宣扬，我看到的是信仰之光。无论是否信教、无论是有神论或无神论，信仰存在于没个人心中，上帝只是斯图信仰的寄托，因为有了信仰，他才得以悔过、解脱和坚强，并把他的路带给有神或无神的“信徒”。我也是无神论者，我不是个宗教小白，但还是觉得此片很带感，感谢导演。
