A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
这才是科幻片拍摄的方式，要那么多对话干啥，就是画面，音乐和旁白，要的是这种史诗感，国产片在摄影、配乐的审美上差距太大了.
沙丘也不难看
1，好看，是真的好看。这个好看包括并不局限于，美术，表演，动作场面等，尤其是美术，我觉得最体现想象力。但我真正想要看到的想象力部分，则几乎缺失。——换而言之，这是部好看的电影，但不是我期盼的科幻电影，这也是没办法的事，故事的原著杵在那。2，最近十年，最符合我期盼的科幻电影/剧是《降临》（好巧，也是本片导演导的，可见剧本内容之重要），和《湮灭》，剧有《无垠的太空》第二季第三季，还有半部《星际穿越》。3，在我看来，科幻一定要给我带来超出我地球人思维的认知体验，才叫科学幻想。在地球人思维框架里打转转的，都不能让我达到幻想之嗨。4，个人尤其对披着“科幻”外衣的莎士比亚故事有些麻木了，甚至有些下意识反弹，因为同样的心理和道理，对短评里起此彼伏的维伦纽瓦封神说，也无感。换而言之，都太套路了，没新东西。
本片最大优点是赫伯特已去世35年，不用看与自己思想背道而驰的东西被读者高呼神还原这种魔幻画面。我想这是对一个创作者最大的侮辱了。
期望越高失望越大，看在沙丘的ip和配乐的份上给个两星，不然真是忍不住一星了。那些四星五星的彩虹屁真是看吐了，不知道的还以为现在是2010年
得亏《基地》先上了，闷到哈欠连天时，一想到《基地》就觉得：《沙丘》，史诗👍🏿
西方人引以为傲的民主居然在千百年后成了君主世袭制 影片又臭又长 剧情搁在五十年前可能很牛逼 现在看来真的是无聊至极 跟流浪地球之类的比起来差了不是一点半点
能够重新校准这个十年科幻片天花板的电影。好莱坞终于不再让人失望，电影终于重新回归电影。
沙丘也不难看
视觉上，善于使用对比去衬托巨大与渺小，宏大场面搭上汉斯季默配乐，带来极其震撼的视听冲击。同时，再次看出大导演们对微缩模型的坚持。
这也太惨了，人类都征服宇宙了，政治制度、社会形态和格斗办法还在中世纪呢。
开头：画面太美了，太有氛围了，服化太好看了。中间：比霍比特人还慢，必须要靠跟室友相互鼓励才能坚持下去。最后：苟比片又臭又长……
我好烦这种一直在铺垫大战，铺垫了两个小时一直不打，最后一个镜头是一群人向远方走去/飞去的电影。
在主流观众的心智已经被短视频占据的时代，5秒就要有爆点，30秒就要讲完一件事，一部电影还在用2个多小时大量慢镜头去叙述一个5部曲的开篇，实在是一种奢侈又冒险的浪漫主义。
本质上是一部披着科幻外壳的皇权更迭王子复仇的宫斗剧本，映射到现代则是大国为了石油而展开殖民侵略老套设定；多得导演的功力，世界观的营造，人物的塑造，以及人物关系的推进都完成得很好，当然你也可以说他故作深沉，节奏拖沓，但是这是一部非常依赖影院视听分作品，光是摄影跟音乐，都能让你获得观影的快感，一种在电影院久违的沉浸感。而所谓的高门槛其实就是电影本身并不是强剧情的，全片下来连一个真正的高潮戏都没有，甚至节奏跟动作设计都有点反商业，而是情绪主导，包括那些亦真亦假的梦境，一个少年背负的沉重的宿命。已经在期待下一部了。8
请一定要好好拍啊！要细腻，要成长，要空旷，要残酷，要宿命，要宏美。我心爱的沙丘，终于等到了大制作........（2019）今天终于看了电影，我成为了一个幸福的沙丘原著粉。（20211025）
2021春夏运动系列的超长宣传片
整个电影拍得漏洞百出，逻辑不通，没看过小说，可能看过小说之后能有所改观。
1202年了还能看到如此刻板庸俗的古早政变戏码(幼稚到网文都不敢这么写)，全员脸谱化工具人，所谓太空歌剧版王子复仇记人物弧光还不如狮子王，哪来自信拍那么长。用视听奇观包裹三流叙事可谓暴殄天物，何况呈现出的美术风格实在中规中矩难称天物，但看得出维伦纽瓦尽力了。zimmer就差不多得了，写不了可以不写没必要来折磨耳膜。总之热评碰瓷2001太空漫游那条简直是能入刑的程度……
画面很美，很有史诗感，很不理解评价此片“殖民主义”云云的人，难道脑子里除了社科大词之外一无所有吗？
