The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 说实话看了半小时直接转成小视频了，
修复版比原片多了十分钟的幕后花絮，画质在被修复的同时，部分声音也得到了重制，尤其低音部分的出现则更为惊奇，毕竟老片子的声道都是比较刺耳的，低音的加入则使本片在回归影院的同时，观感同时也得到了提升，这一点做的非常好。本片的画风也是比较传统的老式国风，故事也比较有弧度，尤其是对反面角色的描写可谓入木三分，甚至风头盖过了主角蛋生，此外对于权力的滥用之嘲讽也是不落俗套，对于现在的社会而言也是具有一定的教育意义。

一部很磨人心性的影片。结局当然预料之外，却也难言情理之中，也许是对摆脱人生困境的一种象征吧。

里面的小主人公蛋生把天书看了一遍就背下来了，厉害!还有蛋生吃饼的动作也帅呆了。《天书奇谭》情节曲折，实在是扣人心弦啊。
