灯塔之后A24那股神秘的灵性似乎就被榨尽，风格独特的黑白画面再现也无法弥补经典改编的平庸之罪，科恩夫妇联手丹泽尔也不过是维持中规中矩的古典感，而值得赞美的仅剩女巫登场时压迫感极强的妖异表演，以及作为招牌摄影的迷雾填补消散与白日-大地的转场切换。最后不得不感叹黑泽明那座蜘蛛巢城已经成为后来所有麦克白改编时被迫直面的不可逾越之山脉。
