The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. Dear Garland: Try to lay some decent plots as groundwork then upon that elaborate on visuals, not the other way round; for instance, at any rate there were some plots, not that they were nearly as stunning as the looks by any means, for the visuals to be based upon in your Annihilation, were there not? 2.5期待很久终于看到，很干净的演员表(笑)；当Rory开始读诗，读“丽达与天鹅”的时候我才惊觉当A24的观众门槛真的不低(笑)；绿色Rory吹蒲公英我又串台了仲夏夜之梦(笑)；被疯狂包装和诠释的概念，没有故事性，女主演起神棍片易如反掌，一些恶趣味和隐喻令人上头，总结一句话Rory是个好演员。
是我们当下需要的“女性主义”电影。画面色彩和故事内核很Midsommar，最后一段令人瞠目结舌的隐喻有Mother!的味儿了，很wtf很直白，要是再克制点就更好了。but still影史级的恐怖桥段+精准的对toxic masculinity/slut shaming/PUA的刻画和反击=年度恐影。
喜欢这个故事…………… 透露着一股绝望又残忍的诗意
我的理解是，不管他们是什么职业什么性格，都是同根生，本质上是一样的
女权文艺恐怖片。可惜目标观众不是三者的合集，得是交集。
最后的最后，咱要不还是把“科幻”的标签去了吧。。
愧疚、自责、压抑、害怕，伴随着诸多男性躯体终于压垮了女性。
