Acclaimed British actor Christopher Eccleston (The Leftovers, Thor: The Dark World) will be joined by Marsha Thomason (White Collar) and Paterson Joseph (The Leftovers, Law & Order: UK) in a new four-part drama series Safe House from Eleventh Hour Films. Safe House is a tense thriller set in the beautiful wilderness of the Lake District. The cast will also include Jason Merrells (Emmerdale, Waterloo Road), Nicola Stephenson (All At Sea, Holby City), and Peter Ferdinando (Doctor Who, A Field in England) and is set to commence filming today; Monday 6th October. The 4-part drama tells the story of a married couple: Robert (Christopher Eccleston) a former detective and Katy (Marsha Thomason) a teacher who are asked by close friend and police officer Mark (Paterson Joseph), to turn their remote Guest House into a Safe House. Their first ‘guests’ at the Safe House, are a family in fear of their lives after they are violently attacked by someone who claims to know them. For Robert protecting the family resurrects fears and anxieties bound up in a terrifying night eighteen months ago - where he was protecting a star witness who was about to testify against her gangland husband. Unexpectedly, he was shot, and she was killed. As a consequence of running the Safe House, Robert re-questions this incident and uncovers a web of lies. Inspired by a real couple, Safe House is a distinctive character-driven drama created and written by Michael Crompton (Kidnap & Ransom, Carrie’s War), and directed by award-winning Marc Evans (Hinterland, Collision) and produced by Andrew Benson (Strikeback, Mad Dogs). It is being developed by Eleventh Hour Films’ Paula Cuddy, who is also an Executive Producer, alongside Jill Green. Safe House is potentially a returnable series for ITV and Eleventh Hour Films and was commissioned by ITV’s Director of Drama, Steve November and Controller of Drama, Victoria Fea. “We're delighted to commission Safe House from Jill Green and Eleventh Hour Films. 最大的问题可能在于这个游戏没有跳脱出video game的框架，所以也不具备超越同类电影的高概念。男主角身上的原始魅力可比照开罗紫玫瑰，与时俱进的则是一种“反直男/暴力”的安全感。比起打boss，似乎真正的高潮在于他自陈“我只是一封情书，作者另有其人”，意想不到但又在情理之中的保守结尾。于是被凝视的游戏也被背叛，落点还是回到了现实。
an excellent update of Truman's World. The only regret I have is about the ending, why on earth did Guy downgrade himself as a love letter to Millie? that's like opposite to what the AI is all about. He is not just something created by Keys, he's an independent mind with his own feelings and his own world of life! Uh, this really drives me nuts
幸好没去电影院，在自家沙发上看的，睡得很香
比头号玩家稍好。这片子再次说明了好莱坞对游戏狗屁都不懂。他们对游戏的想象只有GTAOL。
特效不错，男主角视角的选择也不错，对AR、VR的期待更多了些。
优缺点很明显，最棒的是放了logic的歌！
纯粹为了波士顿街景看的，应该没有别的电影比这部有更多波士顿街景了。剧情很一般，印象深刻的只有波士顿几个地点被改成游戏里的样子

看完回家不知道是该打开visual studio
又一次，用最新的电脑技术结合喜闻乐见的ACG彩蛋包装了一个人工智能觉醒的老话题，剧情里主角正义凛然说着数字不是全部，然而流水线成品对加入的许多可挖掘议题点到为止也不过是为了票房这个数字，这有点讽刺。人工智能罢工，NPC Matters，乃至后续的乌托邦是否如《软件体的生命周期》那样发展，很多也不过一闪而过，记住的倒是从楚门的世界到西部世界，从侠盗车手到模拟人生，彩虹小马与极地武士，美队的盾，绿巨人的拳，疑似阿基拉的摩托，还有半人马。就剧情层面还是不错的，日剧跑都用上了，果然海的对面是希望吧。

很楚门，尤其“大海”这一关键元素。还挺喜欢男女主的设定，专心搞代码直到最后才幡然醒悟，而Guy可以说就是男主为自己创造的游戏映像（理工人啊！）不过最近看的新片反派为什么都跟有大病一样-_-||| Ps.好多怪怪的情节啊！揉胸公主抱是什么鬼！Buddy最后解下的我以为是裤腰带……“在这里你想干什么就干什么哦！”【大家都爱cheek to cheek！
漏洞多，尬点多。最大的亮点是掏出美国队长盾牌挡一拳，然后克里斯埃文斯在电脑上看。
还是steam
最后从游戏回到现实还挺感动的，其他的很流水线。
怒赞！好久没看到这么好看想要去二刷的电影了，完全不逊色《头号玩家》，甚至在人物刻画和喜剧程度上还要更胜一筹。Ryan饰演的blue shirt guy简直不要太讨人喜欢，女主也延续了杀死伊芙的酷冷杀手形象，在电影里和Ryan还挺有火花。虚拟世界+真实世界的结合，让人跳过在两个世界之间，亦真亦幻，最后还被Guy感动了一番。看完电影，我一个不玩游戏的人看完后都想去体验下NPC游戏了！😄
好甜好快乐呜呜呜呜啊我疯狂推眼镜抹泪……顺便Joe终于不再是男妈妈了（
新鲜感有的，但也挺套路的，这种设定应该能玩的不止这些。
