剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     标准到没什么意思的电影，太过四平八稳，一切都对，都正确，但各方面都不出彩，尤其是有那么多珠玉在前的情况下。加菲最好的表演还是在《沉默》和《银湖之底》，却没获得肯定。不过鉴于今年连《玉面情魔》都能bp提名，这部的观感至少没有那么糟糕。

    给纽约theatre and theatre junkies的一封情书。central park delacorte theatre, ny theatre workshop，playwrights horizons...全都是戏剧生活里忘不掉的回忆。正值Sondheim老爷子忌日，theatre legends们出来唱Sunday一段，看得直掉眼泪-对我来说，全剧唯一精华。之前workshop出现的作曲家和作家，也都是真实的theatre创作者们。对Jon本人的剧没什么感觉（音乐实在不感冒），这一部TTB也稍显幼稚粗浅。可是贵在真情。Andrew演的Angels in America可作为90年代AIDS事件的补充拓展，那剧是真有深度和灵魂。。

    电影里呈现出的Jonathan Larson，其实和他的那部最著名的作品一样，充斥着某种程度的自私、自以为是、自我中心……但是，我无法讨厌这一切，因为我无法拒绝其中蕴含的真挚和才华。看了不少关于Rent的各种缺点的小论文，很多我也无意反驳，但它始终打动我心，Jonathan Larson也始终让我无比难过——如果他能够继续下去，他一定会创造出不留任何遗憾的作品。
