The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一开篇眼泪就下来了，我宣布理想国唐家屯永远是我最爱的电视剧。
火炬从女性被传给女性，真的没法不爱唐顿这个善待每一个人的美好童话。很佩服编剧，回忆12年来所有的电视剧和电影剧情，Mary和祖母的相似真是呼之欲出：虽然渴望冒险，但一定不会背叛自己的原则和责任。美中不足的是马修·古迪的缺席啊，上一部迈着长腿冲上楼梯和Mary相拥的镜头我可以看100遍。
好肉，煮烂了。
拍电影这个情节真不错，不用看庄园里的人吵来吵去但又有足够的喜剧冲突。很温暖，即便“We're orphans at last”。
讨厌编剧，写死xxx 古迪子缺席 小茶杯勾引玛丽这三点真要命
最喜欢的是所有仆人一起拍电影的那段。 有多重时空交错的感觉。 莫斯利求婚那段非常感人
但老夫人的去世却很让我感伤，尤其当我想起今年去世的妈妈，眼泪一下子就止不住了。
看到他们又有新的生命诞生，又有人喜结连理，也又有人离去，仿佛也感受到自己作为它们的一员，又陪着这个家族迈向了new era。看着小西比小乔治长大，自己的年华也在悄然流逝了。
没什么狗血剧情，平和欢乐。10多年了，也可以结束了。

看这部电影，不是因为是唐顿的粉丝，而是怀念疫情前的那段岁月，如同金黄色的阳光洒向铺满落叶的道路，静谧而美好

本集主要讲了两件事，老夫人被刚过世的年轻时的情人送了一个位于南法的度假别墅，有电影公司租用唐顿庄园拍电影，却正赶上从默片到有声片的过渡。
并未看过之前的剧集与电影版，所以人物关系理不清楚，但是这种娓娓道来的正剧很对胃口。
世事变幻，唐顿依旧。休丹西某种程度上算接棒丹史蒂文斯了，虽然没和Mary在一起，但也算圆了一点我心里马修的缺口。
